In this guide, we provide you with our top ten tips to help make your orgy go with a bang, whether you're the host or the guest!

1. It’s not about the sex

Yep, this is always one of the strangest things to tell people about orgies, but the point of going isn’t just about the sex. Orgies are about meeting new people and finding out about them. Very few people like just being treated as a sex object (and even if they do, that will come later) so it's a good idea to take your time when it comes to getting into the action.

2. Pace yourself

When it does come to the sexual part of the orgy you might want to relax and to take things easy rather than get stuck into the frenzied sexual part straight away. Just like in a more intimate sexual situation, foreplay is really important. Many orgies last a number of hours so if you burn yourself out too quickly, you'll soon get bored.

3. Ask permission

Just because you're in a candy store, it doesn't mean that you get to grab all the candy. By all means join in, but remember to ask permission before you do. There's nothing worse than someone who gropes, and worse, without asking the permission of the people involved in the scene. Just because there are ten people involved doesn't mean that you don't need permission to be the eleventh!

4. Know your boundaries

An orgy can involve lots of different types of sexual encounters, from mutual masturbation to full-on group sex. It's very important to know what your boundaries are when it comes to different forms of sex. You shouldn't feel that you have to join in with any activities that you don't feel comfortable with.

5. Don’t stare

An orgy involves lots of people doing things that you don't usually see in everyday life. For most of the population, sex is something that people do behind closed doors, not in public. People like being looked at (otherwise they might not want to be at an orgy in the first place) but they don't like being stared at by an obsessive stalker. Use your instincts, and your politeness.

6. Play safely

It should go without saying, but if you don't know the sexual status of your partners then you should insist on condoms, which should be used properly. You should also take sensible sexual precautions against other forms of STDs. If you're hosting an orgy then you should provide condoms, lubes and perhaps forms of safe sex advice.

7. Clean up

There's nothing worse than an orgy where used condoms, tissues and various body fluids litter the floor. It doesn't take long to put a condom in the rubbish bin, so make it a nicer environment for everyone and dispose of it safely and cleanly.

8. Don’t get wasted

Alcohol and other intoxicating substances can loosen your inhibitions, but in excess you may be persuaded to do something you don’t want to (and you might also be annoying to other orgy participants!) However, an orgy is supposed to be decadent, so indulge – but be responsible!

9. Be polite

Just because you're at an orgy there's no need to be rude. Witty conversation, laughs and good wordplay are required as much here as in your local coffee shop. Talking dirty is fine, but make it original and fun.

10. Have fun!

An orgy is supposed to be fun so only go if you think that you are going to enjoy yourself. Have fun whilst the rest of civilisation goes to hell – it worked for the Romans!
