This one will be short, but I feel like it’s important - time to talk about one of my favourite sex toys of all time... The Feeldoe.
You hear some odd nonsense about strap-on use occasionally, but it’s actually very common - and amongst a wider range of genders and sexualities than you might imagine, too. The real trouble with them is that they’re a pain; harnesses are awkward and uncomfortable, a lot of people feel pretty self-conscious in them, and getting yourself in and out of them can be a bit of a mood-ruiner. To top it all off, only one half of the equation is ever really getting very much in the way of physical sensation - it’s an unsatisfactory arrangement for all concerned.
Enter the Feeldoe
I first encountered them many years ago, when I was dating a transman. As a bisexual cis woman myself, I’ve had plenty of occasion to want one since. They’re no longer the only ‘strapless strap-on’ on the market, but they were the first - and they’re generally considered to be the best. The Feeldoe is double-ended, and designed to be held in place using your pelvic floor muscles alone. It has a built-in vibrator.
There are two main categories of Tantus’s bestselling fan favourite: the Feeldoe line and the Realdoe line. They each come in Classic, Slim, Stout and More, with the Feeldoes being brightly-coloured rigid silicone and the Realdoes being designed to look as realistic as possible, with a soft outer layer and a firmer core.
Nothing is perfect, of course. In my experience, the vibrations on a Feeldoe are actually a bit rubbish - most people don’t bother with that function. If your pelvic floor is a bit rusty you might want to start doing more kegels to help you keep it in; they’re heavy, and dealing with the weight of them takes a bit of practice. They’re actually quite large, and they can feel a bit unwieldy - especially before you’re used to using one. The hard rigidity of them isn’t for
everyone, either. Still, though...sod it, I’m giving something five out of five stars again. I love these things. If you’d like to try one for yourself, your best bets are probably these two Popcorn.dating favourites:
